Mortgage Servicing Specialist

Function and Responsibilities

Building relationships with our members, and offering first-class service is a top priority at Town & Country FCU. The Mortgage Servicing Specialist plays a very important part within the mortgage team.

The Mortgage Servicing Specialist performs the following duties:

• Maintains mortgage information including payment postings, import and funding new loans and updating member information, processing payoffs, curtailments, monthly statements, adjustments, account research etc.
• Answers members questions regarding payoffs, escrows, change of owner, note modifications, discharges, beneficiaries and other details of existing loans.
• Prepares routine letters to members.
• Processes monthly PMI billing to provider.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education
One to three years of similar or related work experience. High school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills

Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.

Location

This is a fully in person job due to the nature of the work involved. This department is located in our Operations Center, Scarborough Maine.
