Collab: Tech Manager

We are looking for a Leader who believes in the power of collaboration. Are you a people-first leader with a passion for technology and community impact? Town & Country Federal Credit Union is looking for an innovative, forward-thinking individual to lead one of Maine’s most exciting spaces for collaboration and digital exploration. As the Collab: Tech Manager, you’ll guide a team that inspires curiosity, builds meaningful connections, and helps visitors harness technology to improve their lives.

As the manager, you’ll lead that charge, bringing energy and purpose to every visitor experience.

This is not a typical management position, it’s about facilitating connections, encouraging curiosity, and helping people and ideas move forward together through the power of collaboration.

Function and Responsibilities

As the Collab: Tech Manager, your goal is to build and lead a team that delivers exceptional, human-centered experiences while fostering an environment that encourages exploration, innovation, and collaboration.

  • Lead a passionate team, fostering a culture of curiosity, connection, and community impact. Coach and support team members to provide outstanding experiences every day.
  • Champion the purpose of Collab, bring people together to share ideas to improve our communities.
  • Engage visitors and members with meaningful conversations, helping them explore and understand digital tools that can enhance their financial and personal well-being.
  • Stay informed and forward-thinking, maintaining high product knowledge and staying up to date with new selling techniques, emerging technologies, trends, and innovations.
  • Represent Collab and Town & Country FCU at community events and functions, developing strong relationships and helping extend our impact beyond the walls of Collab.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration by connecting visitors with the right people, services, and opportunities across collab and Town & Country FCU.
  • Create a welcoming, professional space where all equipment functions seamlessly, and every visitor feels inspired and supported.
  • Empower your team by providing coaching, performance feedback, and growth opportunities that align with their passions and strengths.

Education & Experience

Three to five years of similar or related work experience. (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
